Curate Coaching is a trauma-informed virtual coaching practice supporting women navigating emotional healing, burnout, identity shifts, nervous system overwhelm, and personal growth.
Koren’s vision for Curate was deeply intentional from the very beginning. She wanted the website to feel calm, grounded, thoughtful, and emotionally safe — creating a space where women could feel seen before ever booking a session. The challenge was balancing softness and emotional depth with enough structure, clarity, and contrast to create a professional and trustworthy digital experience.
This project became a highly collaborative and nuanced brand and website refinement process focused on emotional pacing, thoughtful UX, editorial-inspired design, and clear service communication — all while maintaining the gentleness and humanity at the heart of Curate Coaching.
The final result is a warm, editorial-inspired website that feels deeply personal while still strategically guiding visitors toward connection and trust.
Brand Refinement
Koren came into the project with a thoughtful brand foundation already established, including typography direction, colour palettes, messaging, and extensive written reflections on how she wanted Curate to feel emotionally.
As the website came to life on screen, we collaboratively refined the visual system to create more grounding, clarity, and contrast throughout the experience while still preserving the softness of the original vision.
The palette evolved from very muted, beige-leaning neutrals into a warmer and more dimensional collection of tones with greater emotional depth and visual balance. Typography refinements focused on improving readability, pacing, and hierarchy while maintaining the calm editorial feel Curate was aiming for.
Every adjustment was approached intentionally — not simply from a design perspective, but from the lens of how the website would emotionally feel for women arriving in vulnerable or transitional seasons of life.
The final visual direction balances warmth, trust, softness, and quiet confidence.
Website Design
The custom Squarespace website was designed to feel spacious, reflective, and emotionally supportive while still maintaining clear navigation and strong user flow.
Rather than relying on traditional “hard sell” coaching website structures, the experience was intentionally paced to allow visitors to slow down, connect with the messaging, and explore naturally. Large amounts of white space, editorial typography, layered emotional storytelling, and thoughtful imagery create a calm and grounded reading experience throughout the site.
