Susan Little Childbirth Services provides compassionate, holistic doula care for families in Carstairs, Airdrie, Olds, and surrounding Alberta communities. Susan’s work is rooted in calm, evidence-based support, guiding families through fertility, birth, postpartum, and loss with deep care and presence.

This was a complete brand and website project designed from the ground up to create a digital space that feels welcoming, grounded, and aligned with the nurturing experience Susan provides her clients. Every element — from colour palette to typography to page flow — was intentionally chosen to create a sense of calm trust while supporting long-term search visibility.

The result is a warm, nature-inspired brand and website that helps families feel supported from the moment they arrive.

Brand Design

The brand identity was inspired by Susan’s New Zealand heritage and her desire for a visual presence that reflects growth, nurturing, and new beginnings.

The koru symbol — representing unfolding life and continuous care — became a meaningful foundation for the visual direction, paired with soft botanical details and earthy tones inspired by nature. The colour palette balances warmth and softness with grounded greens, creating a calm and reassuring aesthetic that feels both professional and deeply human.

Typography selections blend structure with approachability, allowing the brand to feel trustworthy while still gentle and welcoming. The final brand system includes a primary logo, supporting marks, and visual elements designed for flexible use across website, print, and digital materials.
